App Process

The Term Life Insurance Application process is simple and straight forward:

  1. Work with Paul “Matt Locke” or his staff to define the coverage level needed and the type of policy to be obtained: Whole Life or Term Life. 
  2. Go through the application process.  NOTE: The phone application will result in a follow-up phone call from the underwriting company to review the information in the application. NOTE: Making a payment with the application DOES provide coverage at the time of the application “as long as” no fraud was part of the application.
  3. Meet with the nurse at your home/business/or secondary location to go through the quick medical exam.  NOTE: This process includes- Blood taken, weight and measurements, and a urine test.  NOTE: For coverage under $75,000.00, the only exam needed is a “saliva” test.
  4. Depending on the value of coverage, there may be a need to obtain medical history records from your doctor.  The insurance company and agent can faciliate this process.  There are times when the applicant may need to make a phone call to the doctor’s office.
  5. With the above complete, the insurance company will define the level of “health” that the policy pricing is based.  The agent that you have been working with will contact you and start the completion of the Term Life Insurance policy. 
  6. Completing the Georgia Term Life Insurance policy would include:
  • Delivery of the policy and getting a signature from the insured showing acceptance of the policy.  NOTE: If there was no payment at time of the Georgia Term Life Insurance Application Process, then the payment is made and coverage starts when the transfer of payment and signed policy occurs.
  • If a payment was made at time of a Georgia Term Life Insurance application and the “level of health” changed there may be a payment due upon delivery of the policy. 

The application process is also faciliated by choosing a payment method.  Pricing is based on when payments are made- Monthly auto drafts, Monthly manual pay, Quarterly payments, semi-annual payments, and yearly payments on the Georgia Term Life Insurance policy. Term Life policy payments can be set up to be paid on your preferred time-line.
